The owner of the Colorodo Crush is going to play a game of his own. He's going to use the bigger field in town. I wonder how many other owners will be there.

Colorado Crush co-owner and CEO John Elway will suit up one final time when he teams with a Denver Broncos legends all-star team to face Joe Montana and an NFL legends team in a star-studded regulation flag football game that has been rescheduled for Friday, October 1st at 7:00pm at Invesco Field at Mile High. All tickets already purchased will be good for the rescheduled date.
"This will be my first-and final-game ever at INVESCO Field," said Elway. "I'm really looking forward to playing there in front of the best sports fans in the world!"
Among the Broncos legends invited to participate are Terrell Davis, Shannon Sharpe, Karl Mecklenberg and Randy Gradishar. The NFL legends invited include Hall of Famers Lawrence Taylor (Giants), Tony Dorsett (Cowboys) and fellow 2004 inductee Barry Sanders (Lions).
The four-quarter competitive game is scheduled to start at 7 p.m., but is just a part of the star-studded event. In addition to the game itself, night will include a free autograph session with the players from 5-6 p.m., as well as a post-game concert by DIAMOND RIO. All fans in attendance will also receive a free John Elway "Class of 2004" collectible bobblehead doll.
With each 2005 Colorado Crush season ticket renewal or purchase, the Crush will include a ticket to this once in a lifetime event! For more season ticket information, please click here.
Tickets are also available for $35.00 each and are now on sale to the public.
John Elway was inducted to the Pro Football Hall of Fame on August 8, finalizing a 16-year career with the Denver Broncos that featured five Super Bowl appearances, including championships in his last two seasons. Following his retirement, Elway helped found the Arena Football League's Colorado Crush, helping direct the team to the AFL Semifinals in just its second season, marking the biggest turnaround in AFL history.
